| Abstract |

|
This study was conducted to rearrange the subgenus Geranium of the genus Geranium in Asia. In this study two groups, Karen uarr and Wilfordii groups were newly established and a new Korean endemic species, G. taebaek was described. G. suzuki and G. uniflorum, which both have been known as endemic species of Taiwan were placed into Sewn group, G. henryi into Palustre group and G. napuligerum into Farreri group. As a result, 2 sections, 12 groups, 27 species and 4 varieties in the subgenus Geranium were recognized, and keys to all these taxa were presented. |
